Jacques Soulas was born in France in 1957 and moved to New Orleans where he now lives. In 1980 he began attending the John Mc Crady Art School and later joined the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts.
In 1986 he opened Cafe Degas which he still co-owns. Mr. Soulas has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in Jackson Mississippi and New Orleans Louisiana. Many of Jacques Soulas’ work can be found in corporate and private collections throughout America.
